You can mark any diary entry to appear in your own diary view. You can then see just them diary entries easily by choosing to view "Show My Diary Entries Only". In combination with "Hide Empty Days" you can reduce the displayed entries to just those you are interested in.

To set a diary entry to be in your diary, view it and click "Add To MyDiary" at the top left.
